Outdoors People for Climate
Outdoors People for Climate (OPC) is an activist non-profit organization in Australia. As a new organization founded in 2019, they had not yet established a strong visual identity, branding strategy, nor business model. The organization wanted to expand and grow, plus define its values and purpose. They wanted to improve their communication and engage others to take action against climate change. Our solution was to create a branding strategy, business modelling and visual identity for Outdoors People for Climate.

Background and challenge
The design process included a branding strategic workshop, a business model canvas workshop, and surveys. Through the workshops, we were able to define their target audience, values, personality, etc. After gathering all of the insights, we created three design directions, which were reviewed and tested. This review process ensured that the final design was the right fit.
The final design communicates the warmth and openness of the organization. The logo, color, and patterns are inspired by the outdoor landscape and textures of Australia.
“Ellie was wonderful to work with, went above and beyond and really got to know our organisation. The whole team absolutely loved the final product and our brand and impact will be all the better thanks to Ellie.”
– Vicky Adams, Founder, Outdoors People for Climate
Result and impact
The project resulted in a branding strategy, business plan, design manual and visual identity, which was rolled out on website, posters, badges and t-shirts. The design elements included primary and secondary logos, patterns, iconography, photo, and illustration style.
